Hey, I’m Tayler

…and I’m the founder of Potentia, an innovative mental health and psychology copywriting agency.

I launched Potentia in 2019, having spent a few years writing about mental health for newspapers, radio, and magazines. As I acquired my credentials in psychology, psychotherapy and mental health, I connected with a wide range of people whose passion centred around improving lives and making a difference within their community.

However, when building their business, many of them had one thing in common - they were so busy focusing on their clients that they had no time for their marketing and advertising strategy.

After extensive research, I realised just how prevalent this issue was across the wellbeing, health and medical industries this issue was. There was a vast amount of healthcare professionals with incredible clinical skills who had to choose between focusing on their patients and getting their marketing and advertising right.

I’m a ‘big picture’ thinker; not only did I want to fulfil this gap in the market, but I wanted to expand further and reach as many people as possible across all industries.

I sat down with a piece of paper and thought, ‘what has ten years working and studying within the mental health field taught me, and how does this make me a great copywriter?’ Half an hour later, I had mind-mapped the Potentia principles.

Since then, I have been fortunate to work with some of the industry's best minds, organisations and causes. As the Covid-19 pandemic took over, the move to remote working and the use of platforms such as Upwork allowed me to reach clients worldwide, including the UK, United States, Australia, Singapore, Spain, Canada, New Zealand and Vietnam.

From tiny start-ups to national publications and award-winning charities to adventurous entrepreneurs - no project is too big or small when working within your passion as we do at Potentia.
